Join me for this awesome 1 hour full body strengthening dumbbell opposing supersets workout! Each superset will challenge the body by switching between the lower body and upper body within each set.
The timer will be set for 60 seconds of work focusing on the lower body, and then we go straight into another 60 seconds of work focusing on the upper body. We then get a 30 second rest before repeating the superset for a second set. The timer is just a general guide so take the extra time to transition into the next exercise as needed.
Equipment needed today is a pair of light/moderate dumbbells and a pair of moderate/heavy dumbbells. I’ll be using 2 x 15 lbs and 2 x 25 lbs today. You will also need a mat or soft surface.
Make this workout your own! Go at a pace that’s comfortable for you, and keep that core engaged the entire time. Focus on the Quality of every rep over the Quantity! Take the extra rest when needed and also modify the movements as needed! Make sure whenever using weights to use weights that suit your fitness level but are still challenging!
