We're doing Complexes today with the timer being set for 3 minutes of work before we get a 30 second rest! We will perform 3 exercises within each complex for 10 reps each, so you'll have to count your own reps today. Just keep repeating those 3 exercises, doing as many rounds as possible until the 3 minutes is up! There will be a mini 1 minute complex consisting of 10 jumping jacks and 10 hands to floor sprawls, between every 3 minute complex. We then get another 30 second rest before moving onto a new set of exercises.
Equipment needed for today will be a mat or soft surface and some dumbbells. For your reference I'll be using 2 x 20 lbs today.
Make this workout your own! Go at a pace that’s comfortable for you, and keep that core engaged the entire time. Focus on the Quality of every rep over the Quantity! The timer is just a guide so take the extra rest when needed and also modify the movements as needed! Make sure whenever using weights to use weights that suit your fitness level but are still challenging!
