1 Round of DT (155/105 lb)*
40 Bar Facing Burpees
1 Round of DT (155/105 lb)*
30 Bar Facing Burpees
1 Round of DT (155/105 lb)*
20 Bar Facing Burpees
1 Round of DT (155/105 lb)*
10 Bar Facing Burpees
1 Round of DT (155/105 lb)*
*1 Round of DT consists of: 12 Deadlifts, 9 Hang Power Cleans, and 6 Shoulder-to-Overheads
Time Cap: 20 minutes
As stated, DT is one of my favorite workouts despite being terribly built for my strengths. Having the burpees in between are probably a benefit as they provide time to recover the grip and legs (a bit). The first 3 rounds and 90 burpees went relatively to plan but I fell apart in the last 2 rounds, requiring way more breaks than anticipated. Plus the 10 burpees at the end aren’t very beneficial since they provide very little time to recover. Failed a push jerk on the final round and consider just doing 4 single clean and jerks at the end but managed 2 by 2 to finish. Relatively happy with the effort despite a poor finish. Would love to see the time at 115 lbs since I could attack each part, including the burpees, a little bit more. Give this one a go!
