Episode 33 of The Great Canadian Road Trip 🇨🇦
Today’s journey marks the transition from Manitoba into Saskatchewan as I leave the Rural Municipality of Rossburn and head west toward the provincial border, capturing sweeping drone footage of golden prairie and canola fields along the way.
After crossing into Saskatchewan, I make a brief stop in the small town of Melville before continuing south into the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley. I explore the historic town of Fort Qu’Appelle, set among rolling hills and lakes that contrast sharply with the surrounding prairie.
The journey then leads to Regina, Saskatchewan’s capital city. The following day begins at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building and its surrounding grounds, followed by a coffee stop near the Warehouse District along the rail yards.
The episode concludes at the RCMP Heritage Centre, where I learn about the history and legacy of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, closing out the first chapter of my time in Saskatchewan.
