I've used 16/8 intermittent fasting effectively for the last year and explain my experience with it in this video. I'll also explain the science behind why intermittent fasting is safe, highly effective and beneficial for people who have chronic degenerative diseases. The evidence I show in this video explains intermittent fasting can help with weight loss, muscle maintenance and improvements in overall health markers, including improving arterial health to combat heart disease, type 2 diabetes and other degenerative diseases. This will be the first video I make of a whole series on intermittent fasting because I'm that impressed with benefits of this style of eating. Keep in mind that although I mention fat loss and muscle gain a lot in this video, I think the most important benefits to IF are the improved health markers and contributions to longevity. Rarely to come across a diet fad nowadays with so much scientific evidence backing it up to show that it's truly healthy for you and virtually harmless when done correctly.
