I went to Newfoundland to explore the edge of the world, but I ended up in an emergency room during a massive snowstorm. This is the story of how my dream trip turned into a survival situation.
In this episode, Shelby and I cross from Labrador to the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland. We explore the historic town of St. Anthony, witness the rugged beauty of Gros Morne National Park, and find some of the most epic campsites of the entire trip.
But as we headed south toward Corner Brook, a sudden, violent snowstorm changed everything. In a matter of minutes, the roads became impassable, and a single mistake led to a catastrophic injury.
Life is a journey, and sometimes you have to take the punches as they come. This is the moment everything changed.
