What happens when you drive 600 miles through one of North America's most remote wildernesses—with no cell service, gas stations 250+ km apart, and stretches where you won't see another vehicle for hours?
This is the Trans-Labrador Highway.
I drove the entire route from Labrador City through Happy Valley-Goose Bay to the coastal town of Red Bay, camping in the wilderness, hiking to stunning overlooks, and discovering why this corner of Canada remains one of the last truly untouched places on the continent.
Along the way:
→ Churchill Falls: A canyon that once held waterfalls taller than Niagara—until they diverted the water for hydroelectric power
→ Overnight camping where only 3 vehicles passed between 8pm and 6am
→ The Brimstone Head trail in Red Bay with incredible coastal views
→ Working remotely from a Rossmonster Baja while exploring
If you've ever wanted to experience true solitude on four wheels, this is the drive.
