Ucluelet & Tofino Getaway! Cathedral Grove! Tribal Park! Wild Pacific Trail! Canso Bomber Hike!

Описание: We enjoy a small staycation, and head for Ucluelet and Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island! On the way, we make a quick stop at the always beautiful Cathedral Grove along Highway 4. We check out the Cameron Lake side, which is only a short 15 or 20 minute loop!
Next up the Kennedy Lake rest stop for a quick look at the sweet view. This lake looks huge! You could confuse it with the ocean! Not long after the town of Port Alberni we pull over and check out Tribal Park. A picturesque stop with many little rapids and rocks to explore. Worth a stop!
We stop in Ucluelet, head out on pedal bikes to explore a little bit, before settling in for the night at a freshly renovated suite. The next morning we head to the Wild Pacific Trail and do the Lighthouse Loop! Soooo many little painters perch pullouts with spectacular views!
After the Lighthouse Loop we head for Tofino! We spent time exploring and riding our bikes on Long Beach before heading towards Tofino and our campsite at Surf Grove. In the evening we enjoyed the peaceful ambience walking along Chesterman Beach and the beautiful sunset at the end of the evening. The final morning we pack up, and stop at Radar Hill to check out the view and then hike out to see the Canso Bomber Crash site.
