Tofino Vacation (Ucluelet & Pacific Rim National Park)

Описание: 4 Day Vacation in Tofino, Uceleut and Pacific Rim National Park. We camped at Green Point campsite and used this as our base for adventures in the Tofino Area.

We started our vacation on a BC Ferry crossing the ocean from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo. We saw whales from the ferry and had a great lunch before starting the drive to the Pacific Coast.

First stop was Coombs where we had ice cream and watched the goats on the roof. Next we walked in the Cathedral Trail enjoying the 800 years old trees.

Then we arrived at Green Point Campsite in Pacific Rim National Park.

Day 2 we spent the morning in Tofino and the afternoon on Long Beach.

Day 3 we toured through Uceluet and the Rainforest Trail, Florencia Bay and the Original Surf Shop.

Tofino

Tofino is a small district on Vancouver Island, off Canada's west coast. It sprawls on a peninsula within Clayoquot Sound, characterised by wild natural scenery including lakes, inlets and ancient rainforest. Sandy beaches with year-round surfing facilities include Cox Bay, Chesterman Beach and popular Long Beach, part of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

Ucleulet

Ucluelet is a district municipality on the Ucluelet Peninsula, on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. Ucluelet comes from Yuułuʔił which means "people of the safe harbour" in the indigenous Nuu-chah-nulth language and is the homeland of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ.
