Mt Finlayson Hike Near Victoria,BC! 2025 Goldstream Park! Scrambling To A View! Vancouver Island

After spending the night camping at the nearby Goldstream Camping Grounds for $35/night we make the short drive to the day use area of Goldstream Provincial Park, which is the start point for the hike. After a quick look around at the day use area, we cross the bridge and head for the start of the trail which is about 200 meters down the road.
The trail starts out steep and carries on that way for the majority of the hike! About half way up, you start getting into some rockier sections that require a little more care and attention than just regular walking/hiking! These sections may not be for everyone! In retrospect, it seems somewhat fun and challenging! At the time, however, I was mildly apprehensive of an unknown trail, and coming down the rock when it was wet out! I lost track of time, so not sure how long I took, but other people on the trail were saying around an hour each way! The views at the top were not bad, even though obscured slightly by clouds and trees. As always, it felt great to make it to the top! Hope you enjoy the video!
