Double Smoked Ham (Twice Smoked)
Master the ultimate double smoked ham with this easy recipe! Score and season your ham with a savory rub for maximum flavor. Perfect for holidays, this twice smoked ham is slow-cooked to juicy perfection on your favorite smoker.
Ingredients:
• 1 ham
• Favorite rub
• Binder of choice, bacon fat, mustard, olive oil, vegetable oil.
Directions:
1. Remove ham from packaging and pat dry.
2. Score with a sharp knife making a grid of 1 inch squares. Do not cut deeper than ¼ inch.
3. Coat with favorite binder thoroughly.
4. Coat entire ham liberally.
5. Place on preheated smoker at 200°F/94°C to 225°F/108°C until deepest part of ham reaches an internal temp of 140°F/60°C.
