Super Easy Potato Pakoras Made in Minutes | Best Appetizer | پکوره افغانی
Here is how to make the ultimate Pakoras in matter of minutes. Super easy Potato Pakoras with step-by-step instructions.
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 med. potatoes
2 cups chickpea flour
1/4 cup corn starch
1/4 cup rice flour
1 cup water
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1L vegetable oil (for frying the pakoras)
Directions:
1. Wash and Peel potatoes
2. Slice potatoes vertically and very thin, about an inch thick
3. Soak sliced potatoes in cold water for about 5-7 minutes
4. Drain the water and place potato slices on a paper towel or kitchen towel. Dry with the. kitchen towel.
5. Combine chickpea flour, corn starch, rice flour, turmeric, paprika, sea salt garlic powder and turmeric in a bowl and mix all the dry ingredients
6.Pour water slowly and gradually as you are mixing in all the ingredients
7. Keep mixing until it gets soft and smooth and a consistency like cake batter
8. In a big skillet or pot add the oil on medium heat until it is very hot
9. Take a slice of potato, dip in the batter both sides until the potatoes are covered evenly with the batter. One slice at a time.
10. Shake of the excess batter and drop in the oil slowly
11. Cooke each side for about 1-2 minutes or until golden brown
12,. Serve with chutney of your choice, hot sauce or lemon/lime
