Hi there ! Welcome to my channel.
Today we are cooking a delicious low carb, high protein, healthy meal using konjac noodles and kangaroo. Perfect for those on The Dukan Staircase or Consolidation phase of the Original Dukan Diet but you don't need to follow the Dukan Diet to enjoy this delicious recipe. The cooking style has some Asian hints but the flavours are quite mild. You can of course add more chilli and any other of your favourite vegetables. Spinach can also be used instead of the pak choi. Regular cabbage instead of Chinese cabbage will be fine as well.
At the start of the video we take a quick tour in our greenhouse to harvest some of the organic ingredients that we grow ourselves.
The kangaroo meat (seasoned and coated in mustard) is lightly pan fried and sliced into thin slices of about 3mm thick. I cooked it medium to rare. It is served on a bed of vegetables (pak choi, broccoli stalks, onion and Chinese cabbage) mixed with konjac noodles. We added a bit of sugar free teriyaki and sweet chilli sauce. You can add some low sodium soy sauce if you wish. I added garlic granules but you can use fresh too. Fresh ginger would also work really well. We garnished the dish with raw grated carrot and raw fresh radishes for extra crunchiness. Fresh coriander at the end really compliments the whole dish.
