44. Healthy & Delicious Low Carb & Dukan Pizza

Welcome to my channel !!!
Today we are making a delicious pizza from scratch without any flour. The base is made from cauliflower plus a few extras and the toppings you can add whatever you prefer.
For those on the Dukan Diet :
I have used tolerated items in the crust (wheat bran and cheese) but if you split the 2 pizzas into two portions that means you've only used ONE tolerated item. This is good because you then have one more tolerated item you can use for your topping. Especially if you are still in Cruise phase. This would mean that you could have some cheese as a filling OR Olives (6 black or 8 green) OR you could have half the amount of olives (slice them up) and still have a tiny bit of cheese. Let's look at the fat percentages of the cheese :
On the Cruise phase of the original Dukan Diet you can have 2 tolerated items on your PV (Protein and vegetable days)
ONE tolerated item = 25g of Camembert (11% fat) OR
= 30g of Camembert (5%) OR
= 30g of Mozzarella (9%) OR
= 30g of Gruyere (14%) OR
= 30g of Feta / Bulgarian style cheese (9%)
If fat free cheese then NO Problem !!
Great toppings would be : low fat low sodium turkey / chicken / pork ham or bacon (unsmoked if possible), onions, peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, spinach, thin strips of carrot, tinned fish, capers, sugar free pickles etc...
Olives would count as a tolerated item.
If you are on phase 3 or 4 of the Dukan Diet OR on the Dukan Staircase and you are having a celebration meal you can have 3 tolerated items or more which will give you greater flexibility eg. a half a glass of wine can be added and you don't need to sacrifice your olives or cheese.
Ingredients for the base :
1 medium size cauliflower (once cooked you need at least 200g)
10g or 3 TBSP wheat bran
20g Mozzarella (11% fat) or any other low fat cheese available
1 medium to large egg OR egg white
herbs, spices, seasonings (to taste) about 1 or 2 teaspoons

Pre-cooking the base :
10 mins at 190'Celsius then flip over
another 5 - 7 minutes (or longer for crispiness) same temperature.
Then you can leave to cook and wrap in greaseproof paper and clingfilm and freeze in airtight container to use another day OR
Add your favourite toppings and bake another 10 minutes at 200 'Celsius.
Toppings I used on the two pizzas was tomato paste (1 heaped teaspoon on each), strips of pickled onion and bell peppers, ham, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, tinned tuna (small tin), dried sage (oregano also good or mixed dried herbs), olives (black and green) and capers.
I hope you enjoyed watching this video and I hope you got some useful tips for making your own at home.
I made two small pizzas but you could of course make one large one just bear in mind that you should only have half of it then, or if you have the whole one, then you've used 2 tolerated items and that will affect what toppings you can add. Also a large base is more difficult to handle (they are very fragile).
I tried to shed some light on the use of tolerated items too as I know that lots of people on Dukan are not too sure how to use them. Any questions are welcome. Glad to help if I can.
For those on the KETO diet just use cheese with higher fat content. You can also use some fatty bacon or avocado ... yummy ... or pulled pork or pulled lamb...
