The Cut Off Culture - Parental Alienation

Описание: We live in a cut off culture. It takes two to communicate, but that is not how culture sees it. It is “my version is the only version,” “if you do not valid my narrative, then you do not value me,” and “If I have to concede, then I can’t win.”

It is a culture of – it is perfectly normal to dispose of any one who does need meet my standards and the more I can move on, usually in the most hurtful way, the stronger I am. That is unhealthy. That is not finding a resolution. That is – my way or the highway – thinking.

So, what can be done about it? If someone is living in this type of a mindset, it is THEY who have to become more uncomfortable with making decisions to cut people out than the uncomfortableness of making amends. Listening to their own conscience – gaining emotional steadfastness – verses listening to what other people think is the right way to handle their life.
