They require communication, boundaries, patience, and sometimes forgiveness.
But today the cultural message often skips all of those steps and jumps straight to severing the relationship entirely.
And that has enormous consequences for families.

But healing IS possible when we’re willing to look at the full picture.
Beginning March 31st, every Tuesday night at 7:30 PM Eastern, I’m hosting a monthly group where alienated parents and estranged adult children can come together and talk openly about what they’re experiencing. Topics will range from divorce, estrangement and alienation to narcissism.
Because one of the hardest parts of family estrangement is the isolation.
People often feel like they’re the only ones living through it.
But they’re not.
There are thousands of families struggling with these same painful dynamics.
And sometimes the first step toward healing is simply realizing that you’re not alone.
