Police have summoned MUHURI chairman Khelef Khalifa for questioning the SGR directives.
The government's orders force importers to haul cargo from Mombasa port to hinterland by Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).
Resultantly, many truckers are jobless, and the Mombasa economy has died.
Khalifa spoke during the launch of the Angaza Movement on January 25, 2022, at Tononoka Social Hall, Mombasa.
Khalifa addressed many issues—all factual and affecting Coast residents—and which the government found uncomfortable.
