Crashes with pedestrians dropping along construction-heavy parts of Boulder Highway

Описание: Roadwork along Boulder Highway in Henderson is expected to continue for another year and a half, part of a long-term plan city leaders say will make the busy corridor safer — even as some residents worry the construction is making it harder to get around right now.

“Traffic gets so bad. And the roads are generally under construction,” said John Anderson, a Henderson resident. Another resident, Daniel Swearingen, said, “I think in the long run it will make everything much better.”

Henderson’s plan for the corridor includes bike and bus lanes separated from car traffic by dividers. New traffic signals and brighter street lights are also planned.
