Описание: WATCH Socialite and influencer Namita Kankaria inaugurated the National Handloom Textile Exhibition 2026 at Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagamam, located in Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad.

While touring the exhibition stalls, Namita Kankaria interacted with weavers and artisans, learning about their weaving techniques, craftsmanship, and the uniqueness of their handloom creations. She emphasized that handloom products have never lost their charm and highlighted that today’s younger generation is increasingly supporting and embracing handloom textiles.

Event organizer Jayesh Gupta stated that the exhibition will continue until the 25th of this month. The event features weavers and artisan groups from 14 states across India, showcasing an impressive collection of over 74,000 varieties of silk handloom sarees, dress materials, and other textile products.

The exhibition aims to provide greater market access and continued encouragement to India’s handloom community.
