This ONE MUSCLE is probably causing ALL of your low back pain.

When you wake up with low back pain, and it’s something that you just can’t seem to get to, it’s probably this muscle.

The Quadratus Lumborum, this piece of hardware runs from the bottom of the 12th rib to the top of the iliac crest.

When it’s short, tight, or weak (or a combination of all three), it loads the hip on one side more than the other causing it to raise up.
.
This loads shear across the lumbar spine and the combination of the QL spasm and the asymmetrical loading, turns your low back into a house of pain.

If you’ve been trying anything and everything to get that low back to ease up, and it just won’t let go, this is the cause.

However, it’s not just a ‘tight muscle’...there’s a good chance that it’s also weak. What we are going to do is lengthen the tissue, then change the tissue quality, and then strengthen it.
