Some say 180 bpm is the holy grail of running cadence, but a lot depends upon your own body. Not everybody is built the same or has the same natural rhythm.
Some runners tend to run with a higher cadence when they accelerate, some lengthen their stride. There's no absolute right way of doing things.
So, while not the absolute norm, if you have a very slow cadence, it's worth doing these running drills to give your body a feel of a higher rhythm.
This is an example. Search your music app of choice for some 180 bpm tracks and do the three different exercises in this video for a couple of minutes.
1 - legs only (feet on the ground)
2 - legs and arms
3 - running in place
