INGREDIENTS
Cake Layers
• egg (75 g)
• ¾ cup sugar (150 g)
• 3½ tbsp honey (75 g)
• 2½–2¾ cups flour (320–350 g)
• 1 tsp baking soda (6 g)
• 5 tbsp butter (75 g)
Berry Filling
• 1 cup frozen cherries, strawberries, or raspberries (120 g)
• ¼ cup sugar (50 g)
• Cornstarch — as needed
(the thinner the sauce, the more cornstarch you add)
Cream Cheese Frosting
• 2 cups cream cheese, very cold (500 g)
• ¾ cup powdered sugar (100 g)
• 1 cup heavy cream, very cold (220 g)
Important: Cream cheese and cream must be well chilled.
