As our team members have visited Misfat Al Abriyeen several times, but this one is a wonderful trekking because it marked our first venture deep into the gorge to explore Al Mazare. When we ventured deep into the gorge to Al Mazare we were astonished by its natural beauty, the untouched wilderness, surrounded by toweritng cliffs and dramatic terrain and the impressive scale of the landscapes. This hike stands out as a must-do adventure for experienced hikers seeking both challenge and reward.

Al Mazare, meaning “farms” in Arabic, is a historic agricultural area located deep within the gorge. It is believed to have been used by locals from nearby villages to cultivate palm trees, lemons and various other crops-- all sustained by the natural flow of the wadi—highlighting a remarkable harmony between human activity and the natural environment.
The hike to the oasis starts from inside the village of Misfat Al Abriyeen following a clearly marked trail through traditional farms and then a gentle with a spectacular view of the palm groves. and the terrace farm.The panoramic view creating an experience that is both visually striking and deeply memorable.
