MTS Orange Line

Описание: This video was filmed June 21, 2022 around 3pm.

Yet another railroad crossing on the orange line that's used every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes late at night by the MTS trolley. Also during this time, this crossing was also very rarely used by freight trains that go to El Cajon. This crossing had two safetran hybrid mechanical bells just a year before I did this video and then they were replaced with electronic bells so I guess I was too late to come here and film the m bells still being here. I had the chance and I didn't take advantage of it.

In January 22, 2024, the railroad crossing signal closest to me was washed away by a raging river during a once in a 100 year storm that damaged a lot of homes, turned roads into rivers just behind me, and wiped out parts of the tracks near by. It took MTS a few months to repair it but everything is working and back to normal again.

All 16 red flashing lights and 6 red flashing gate lights are LED
There are 2 electronic bells
The railroad signals are owned by MTS
