Old San Diego Traffic Lights & MTS

Описание: Some old traffic signals here that were planted on the median and not on the corners like the rest of them here because there wasn't any room to install a pole and arm on the corner over there because the train tracks are there.

This is yet another intersection where the traffic signals are in sync with the railroad crossing signals and in this video, you see the traffic signals are doing their normal operations while the crossing gates are off, then when the crossing gates activate, the traffic signals respond by clearing any vehicles from the tracks and then, the traffic signals facing different directions have to stop traffic from entering the tracks. In this video you see the red right arrow lights on while through traffic could still go and the opposite direction, they had the red left arrow light stay on too. Luckily it doesn't happen too often because the trolleys come by here every 15 to 30 minutes.

TRAFFIC LIGHTS INFO:
All 15 red lights and 15 yellow lights are LED
The yellow lights have 6 LED's and 9 incandescents
All 6 pedestrian signals are LED countdown
The traffic signals are owned by the city of San Diego

RAILROAD CROSSING SIGNALS INFO:
All 16 red flashing lights and 6 red flashing gate lights are LED
There are 2 electronic bells
The railroad signals are owned by MTS
