Snozz Pet Battle Guide and Family Fighter Strategies

There are eighteen battle pet bosses on Argus in Patch 7.3. You are ONLY rewarded for fighting an Argus pet boss by doing its World Quest if said world quest is up. Outside of that, you may fight the Argus pet bosses as many times as you like (to work on your Family Fighter achievement, for example) but you won't be seeing pet supplies or any kind of reward from the battle. The Argus pet bosses do not have backline- you fight the one Legendary pet boss and that's it. They all have the Boss ability meaning they take 50% reduced damage and cannot be dealt more than 35% of their health in one hit. Also, the Mac'Aree pets all have Void Portal, which makes them incredibly irritating to fight.

Family Fighter is an achievement which requires beating each of the 18 Argus pet bosses with a family specific team of each type. Eighteen bosses and ten families (Beast, Aquatic, Critters, Elemental, Humanoid, Mechanical, Dragonkin, Flying, Magic and Undead) means you'll need to complete 180 pet battles in order to finish Family Fighter in 7.3 and earn your Felclaw Marsuul. The ten achievements you'll need to complete for your Family Fighter Meta Achievement are Beast Blitz, Aquatic Assault, Critical Critters, Elemental Escalation, Humanoid Havoc, Mechanical Melee, Draconic Destruction, Fierce Fliers, Magical Mayhem and Unstoppable Undead.

Snozz Beast Strategy - for Beast Blitz Snozz I use a Cheetah Cub with Screech, and two zandalari raptors with Black Claw and Hunting Party. One of them should have over 282 speed.

Snozz Aquatic Strategy - for Aquatic Assault Snozz I use three S/B breed Civets (or Civet Kitten, Mongoose, etc) so they have 289 speed EXACTLY. This one requires rather good luck and may take more than a couple of tries.

Snozz Critter Strategy - for Critical Critters Snozz I use a Bite critter with more than 282 speed (Malayan Quilrat), a rat with Poisoned Fang and Stampede and more than 282 speed (Wharf Rat) and a Darkmoon Hatchling with Trample, Screech and Flock.

Snozz Elemental Strategy - for Elemental Escalation Snozz I used a H/S breed Tiny Twister with Slicing Wind, Flyby and Call Lightning. A Crazy Carrot with Jab and Blistering Cold and an Ominous Flame with Spiritfire Bolt, Scorced Earth and Foreboding Curse.

Snozz Humanoid Strategy - for Humanoid Havoc Snozz I used a Hogs with Bite, Stampede and Headbutt, a Squirky with Stampede and Bubble and a Sister of Tempation with Agony/Curse of Doom/Haunting Song.

Snozz Mechanical Strategy - for Mechanical Melee Snozz I use a Lil Bling with Inflation/Make it Rain, a De-Weaponized Mechanical Companion with Thrash and Overtune and a Cogblade Raptor with Screech/Exposed Wounds.

Snozz Dragonkin Strategy - for Draconic Destruction Snozz I use a Nether Faerie Dragon (swappable for Sprite Darter or Yu'la) with Life Exchange, a Nightmare Whelp with Call Darkness/Nightmare and Chrominius with Bite/Howl/Surge of Power.

Snozz Flying Strategy - for Fierce Fliers Snozz I use a Sharptalon Falcosaur with Falcosaur Swarm, a Hog-nosed Bat with Bite/Screech and Ikky with Black Claw/Flock.

Snozz Magic Strategy - for Magical Mayhem Snozz I use Minfernal with Explode, Sapphire Cub with Pounce and the Nightmare Bell with Curse of Doom/Call Darkness.

Snozz Undead Strategy - for Unstoppable Undead Snozz I used a Blighted Squirrel with Stampede, Unborn Val'kyr with Curse of Doom/Unholy Ascenscion and Scraps with Superbark/Claw.
