Shadeflicker Pet Battle Guide and Family Fighter Strategies

There are eighteen battle pet bosses on Argus in Patch 7.3. You are ONLY rewarded for fighting an Argus pet boss by doing its World Quest if said world quest is up. Outside of that, you may fight the Argus pet bosses as many times as you like (to work on your Family Fighter achievement, for example) but you won't be seeing pet supplies or any kind of reward from the battle. The Argus pet bosses do not have backline- you fight the one Legendary pet boss and that's it. They all have the Boss ability meaning they take 50% reduced damage and cannot be dealt more than 35% of their health in one hit. Also, the Mac'Aree pet bosses all use Void Portal, which makes them SUPER ANNOYING.

Family Fighter is an achievement which requires beating each of the 18 Argus pet bosses with a family specific team of each type. Eighteen bosses and ten families (Beast, Aquatic, Critters, Elemental, Humanoid, Mechanical, Dragonkin, Flying, Magic and Undead) means you'll need to complete 180 pet battles in order to finish Family Fighter in 7.3 and earn your Felclaw Marsuul. The ten achievements you'll need to complete for your Family Fighter Meta Achievement are Beast Blitz, Aquatic Assault, Critical Critters, Elemental Escalation, Humanoid Havoc, Mechanical Melee, Draconic Destruction, Fierce Fliers, Magical Mayhem and Unstoppable Undead.

Shadeflicker Beast Strategy - for Beast Blitz Shadeflicker, In your first slot you need a pet that has Screech or Primal Cry and more than 328 speed. Second and third, I'm using my Anklerender AND my Kneebiter both set up with Black Claw, Hunting Party and Leap.

Shadeflicker Aquatic Strategy - for Aquatic Assault Shadeflicker, In your first slot bring a Mongoose, Civet or Otter with MORE than 328 speed. Set that up with Gnaw, Screech and Surge. In second we've got a Gulp Froglet with Mudslide and Swarm, and third I'm using Toothy with Rip, Surge and Blood in the Water.

Shadeflicker Critter Strategy - for Critical Critters Shadeflicker I use three rabbit pets with more than 328 speed with Flurry, Dodge and burrow.

Shadeflicker Elemental Strategy - for Elemental Escalation Shadeflicker I use the Pandaren Water Spirit with Water Jet, Dive and Geyser. My second slot is a Corrupted Blood featuring Scorched Earth and Explode, and third is my Paradox Spirit with Water Jet, Early Advantage and Temporal Anomaly.

Shadeflicker Humanoid Strategy - for Humanoid Havoc Shadeflicker I used TWO Lil Bad Wolfs with Claw, Dodge and Howl. Have one of them in front. The other pet is a Thistleleaf Adventurer or Dandelion Frolicker, and it's gotta have more health than both of your wolves. Set that up with Bite, Frolic and Dazzling Dance.

Shadeflicker Mechanical Strategy - for Mechanical Melee Shadeflicker I use Darkmoon Zeppelin with Missile, Explode and Decoy. Second is a Cogblade Raptor with Batter and Screech. Third, I've got my Race MiniZep with Missile, Decoy and Overtune.

Shadeflicker Dragonkin Strategy - for Draconic Destruction Shadeflicker I use Chrominius with Howl and Surge of Power, while second is a Nether Faerie Dragon or Sprite Darter Hatchling with Arcane Blast, Life Exchange and Moonfire. . Third, I've got a Twilight Clutch Sister with Tail Sweep, Prismatic Barrier and Twilight Meteorite. The faerie dragon must have less health than your Clutch Sister.

Shadeflicker Flying Strategy - for Fierce Fliers Shadeflicker I use a moth with Call Lightning, a falcosaur with Falcosaur Swarm and Ikky with Black Claw and Flock.

Shadeflicker Magic Strategy - for Magical Mayhem Shadeflicker I use the Faceless Mindlasher with Tentacle Slap, Inner Vision and Illusionary Barrier. Second is the Mini Mindslayer with Eyeblast, Amplify Magic and Life Exchange. Third, a Lesser Voidcaller with Shadow Shock, Prismatic Barrier and Curse of Doom.

Shadeflicker Undead Strategy - for Unstoppable Undead Shadeflicker I used a Frostwolf Ghost Pup with Ghostly Bite, a Ghastly Kid with Diseased Bite and Haunt and third I used a Blighted Squirrel with Adrenaline Rush and Stampede.
