How can you cultivate the greatest daily routine for you using the different Dosha times throughout the day!? It’s all about the ENERGYYYYY! Ayurveda teaches that there are optimal times for eating, sleeping and working (along with many other activities) due to the connection between our own body’s energy and the energy of the doshas (elements) that are dominant during one of six blocks of time per 24-hour cycle. There are 3 doshas, vata pitta and kapha and the time frames are directly correlated to these energetic elements.
Vata which is made up of Air and Space (or Ether) makes up the Vata times, 2 AM to 6 AM and 2 PM to 6 PM. Pitta which is made up of Fire and Water dominates from 10 AM to 12 PM and 10 PM to 2 AM. Kapha, which is made up of Earth and Water makes up the 6 AM to 10 AM time frame and the 6 PM to 10 PM time frame. In this video, I share why do these times matter and how to best utilize them to create some best practices for daily routine to help you cultivate the most healthy and vital mind and body!
