Most traditional training systems in North America teach us to train intensely but often miss the nuance of how our bodies actually feel. As an Olympian, I spent years focused on drills—but it wasn't until I integrated the rhythm and "groove" of dance that I truly understood how to move with both power and grace.
In this video, I’m breaking down three foundational "movement cheat codes" to help you move better, feel more confident, and unlock your body’s natural energy:
The Basic Bounce: Learn how to organize your body relative to gravity and pull energy from the ground up your spine.
The Groove: I'll show you how to turn a drill into a movement pattern that builds coordination and timing.
The Spiral (Hip Circles): We're destigmatizing hip movement for athletes. Your hips are where your power lives—learning to move them in circles helps you transfer energy more efficiently and makes your back feel better.
