Mommy and Me Dance Class | TEMPO Themed OBSTACLE COURSE for Movement Monday

Описание: Today I am sharing an obstacle course designed based on the dance concept of TEMPO 🎶🎶

Tempo refers to the speed of the music and in our Parent and Child classes we focus on 🎶 Fast and 🎵 Slow!

To set up your obstacle course you will need stations for slow movements. Today I chose to use my balance beams for slow movements so dancers could focus on traveling across the beams slowly. Then they could perform fast shaking of their egg shakers in the hula hoops.

I have the balance beams linked in my “Favorite Things” highlight in case you’d like them for your classroom. Other items you can use if you don’t have balance beams:
🟥 Floor Tape
🟧 Row of Poly Dots
🟨 Jump ropes or pool noodles laid parallel creating a pathway for dancers to tip toe walk through.

Dancers will have egg shakers so they can shake their shakers fast and slow through out the course. You can also substitute those with Toy Scarves or ribbons!
