Ingredients:

Oil – 3 tbsp

Garlic – 1/2 tsp

Chicken – 1 (boiled & shredded)

Onion – 1

Cloves – 6–7

Black cardamom – 2

Black pepper corns – 7–8

Water – as needed to boil

Mashed corn

Sweet corn kernels

Salt – to taste

Black pepper powder – 1 tsp

Soya sauce – 1–2 tsp

Vinegar – 1 tsp

Chili sauce – 1 tsp

Cornflour slurry (cornflour + water)

Egg – 1 beaten

Method:

Heat oil, add garlic and sauté.

Add chicken, onion, cloves, black cardamom, black pepper and water.

Boil for 12–15 minutes.

Discard whole spices and shred the chicken.

Add shredded chicken to pot.

Add mashed corn and sweet corn kernels.

Add salt, black pepper, soya sauce, vinegar and chili sauce.

Bring to boil.

Add cornflour slurry to thicken the soup.

Slowly add beaten egg while stirring.

Cook for 2 minutes.
