Today I’m sharing a quick and delicious Chicken with Egg Fried Rice Platter that you can easily make at home. This recipe is full of flavor, simple to prepare, and perfect for lunch or dinner. The chicken is cooked until perfectly golden and then combined with veggies and sauces for a rich, spicy taste. Paired with soft, aromatic egg fried rice — this platter tastes absolutely amazing. Must try it!
Chicken Chili Preparation🍗 Marination
Ingredients:
Chicken (quantity unspecified, assume diced or strips)
Red Chili Powder: 1/2 tsp (to taste)
Black Pepper: 1/2 tsp (to taste)
Salt: 1/2 tsp (to taste)
Corn Flour: 2 tbsp
Egg: 1 (beaten)
Garlic Paste: 1/2 tsp
Vinegar: 1/2 tsp (to taste)
Soy Sauce: 1 tbsp
Chili Sauce: 1 tbsp
Cornflour: 1 tbsp (extra)🔪
Marination Instructions:
In a bowl, combine the Chicken with all the Marination Ingredients listed above.
Mix everything thoroughly until the chicken pieces are well coated.
Set aside to marinate.
🍳 Cooking Instructions:
Take a pan and add Oil (3 tbsp).
Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken.
Fry the chicken well until it is completely cooked and achieves a golden-brown color.
Once the chicken is golden, add the following to the pan:
Soy Sauce: 1 tbsp
Chili Sauce: 1 tbsp
Capsicum (cut into cubes)
Onion (cut into cubes)
Tomato (cut into cubes)
Cook this mixture well for a few minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender-crisp.
Add Chili Garlic Sauce (2 tbsp) and mix it well.
Turn off the flame.
Garnish with Sesame Seeds right before serving.
Egg Fried Rice Preparation🍚
Ingredients:
Oil: 1/3 cup
Garlic Paste: 1/2 tbsp
Onion (chopped)
Carrot (diced/julienned)
Green Chili (sliced)
Capsicum (diced/julienned)
Cabbage: (shredded)
Egg: 1 (beaten)
Rice: (soaked)
Soya Sauce: 3 tbsp
Chili Sauce: 3 tbsp
Vinegar: 1 tbsp
White Pepper: 1/2 tsp (to taste)
Salt: 2 tsp🔥
Cooking Instructions:
Heat the Oil (1/3 cup) in a large pan or wok.
Add Garlic Paste (1/2 tbsp) and sauté briefly.
Add the chopped Onion, Carrot, Green Chili, and Capsicum.
Mix and sauté well on a medium flame.
Add the seasonings:
Soya Sauce (3 tbsp),
Chili Sauce (3 tbsp),
Vinegar (1 tbsp),
White Pepper (1/2 tsp),
and Salt (2 tsp).
Continue to cook on medium flame until the vegetables soften slightly.
Add the shredded Cabbage
And the beaten Egg.
Mix well until the egg scrambles and incorporates with the vegetables.
Add approximately half a cup of water and cook this mixture for about 4 minutes.
Now, add the soaked Rice (Chawal).
Add enough water to cook the rice properly.
Mix gently once.
Cover the pan and cook on a low flame for 8 to 10 minutes until the rice is fully cooked and all the water is absorbed.
Once ready, fluff the rice gently.
🍽️ Platter Assembly
Serve the flavorful Egg Fried Rice alongside the spicy and savory Chicken Chili.
