Improving and maintaining your hamstring mobility is very important to reducing stress off your low back and keeping it healthy. At 60+ I have been continually refining and using this hamstring mobility series to help me develop and maintain what I consider extremely good hamstring mobility. I want to teach you how to implement this hamstring mobility series by teaching it to you as a 3 Level Mini-mobility challenge.
Level 1 will teach you how to setup up your band and begin implementing the simple contract - relax mobility approach. Take you time, use a very low band resistance and get comfortable contracting against the band as well as allowing the band to slowly provide a progressive over-pressure stretch as muscle relax.
My recommendation is to start implementing level 1 over the next week. I will plan to share Level 2 with you next week.
Realize that improving your mobility will require consistent training to take elastic changes and make the more long term plastic changes. So watch, start applying and save all 3 of these videos so you can progress at your own pace.
