This 10-minute glute workout targets deep glute strength with special attention to the piriformis muscle.
The piriformis sits underneath the glute muscles and plays a major role in hip stability and rotation. When it is tight or overworked, it can create discomfort in the hips, stiffness in the lower back, and even tension that travels down the leg.
In this class, we strengthen the glutes with controlled, performance-based movement, then finish with a very specific piriformis stretch that allows the muscle to release properly.
