Cottage Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soft, protein-packed chocolate chip cookies made with wholesome ingredients.
Ingredients
• 1 cup cottage cheese
• 1 1/4 cups rolled oats (NOT Instant)
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 large egg
• 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips, plus extra for topping (I used No Sugar chips)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (I would add a bit more if staying with this recipe, for more flavor)
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• Pinch of salt
SUGGESTIONS HERE: Try using Cinnamon or Orange zest, Lemon Zest, or a different Extract for more flavor. something to add a bit more flavor. These are good, but I think they needed more flavor. The Cinnamon/Sugar added perfect flavor, but more calories.
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, egg, honey, and vanilla until mostly smooth.
3. Stir in oats, baking powder, and salt until thick and evenly combined.
4. Fold in mini chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping.
5. Scoop 2-tablespoon portions onto the baking sheet and flatten slightly.
6. Press extra chocolate chips on top and add optional flaky sea salt.
7. Bake 14–16 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set. (mine took 16 minutes)
8. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Calories mine: 48-121 (Regular CC cookie)
Protein: 2-1
Carbs: 7-16
Sugars: 6-10
Fats: 2-6
