Canned Chicken Stew
5-6 LBS of Chicken Breast, big chunks
4-5 C Sweet Onions, diced
4-5 C Carrots, diced
3 ½ C Celery (or so), diced
3 ½ C Mushrooms, diced
3 ½ C Peas (I used frozen)
12 C Chicken Broth
2 Bay Leaves (remember to remove these 😊)
2 TBLS Lemon Juice
2 tsp Thyme (I used ground)
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
I would suggest heating up the broth and spices, then shut it off and remove the bay leaves FIRST! Then start filling your jars 😊 Any order you want, I almost always add my meat first. Then just follow the video, friends. It’s super easy, and you can add any of your favorite spices.
