Colter Bay Village Swim Beach - Underwater Shots

Описание: Often in National Parks, there is very little infrastructure built up for people to enjoy the outdoors beyond hiking and sightseeing. But, in Colter Bay Village, they have made easy access to a could hundred yards of gravel beach along Jackson Lake for the sole purpose if swimming, sunbathing, and access to the water. There are multiple points of access from the parking lot, easy routes to launch personal watercraft, and many picnic tables along the beach for use and enjoyment.

Of course, this means that the beach is going to be busy on summer days. But much less so when you actually get in the water. The water wasn’t very cold - to me at least - but most people aren’t too willing to get wet if its not warm.

This was also the first real field trail of my ‘boat Mount’ for the GoPro. Previously, there had only been floating mounts for the GoPro that woul leave it submerged. Well, I wanted a Mount hat would keep it above water, so that you all could get a more realistic and immersive view of swimming with us. It didn’t go quite a s planned. Even with some bras plate on the underside, the GoPro was too top heavy and rolled the flip flop over. So I need to make it wider. Which is why this is an Underwater Shot, and not a Swimmin’ Holes video
