In the summer, Lake Twenty Two is possibly one of the most visited hiking lakes in the entire state. In winter, it becomes an ice-skating paradise if the conditions are right. Mt Pilchuck somehow becomes even more impressive cloaked in snow.
This second video is from after we moved to the northwest shore to catch a little bit of sun as it peeked and poked over the shoulder of Pilchuck, on the northeast flank of the lake. The first video is from when we first arrived on the other side of the outlet. Nash and I jog across the entirety of the lake, and then climb to the base of the frozen waterfall on the face of Pilchuck.
