The Low-Impact Mini Workout at Home for Toning Chest and Back Muscles (LOW-Impact Magic) is another Safe and Gentle, High-Results home-fitness training session from Exercise Physiologist & Private Health Coach & Consultant, Joey Atlas
This 12 minute home workout consists of 4 combo exercises that can be done with or without the SCULPTAFIT Home-Gym System:
The 4 exercises are:
1 - Slow-Tempo Push-up for Chest
(shoulders and triceps too)
2 - Slow-Tempo Unilateral Row
(2 variations, bands and/or dumbbells)
3 - Slow-Tempo Unilateral Gentle/Safe Chest Fly
(2 variations, bands and/or dumbbells)
4 - Slow-Tempo Unilateral Lat Push for Back Muscles
The key to toning, strengthening and sculpting the upper body chest and back muscles is to train it while protecting the joints, mainly the shoulder joints, the elbow joints and even the wrist joints.
Too many people workout too heavy, too fast and too hard - resulting in injuries, setbacks and future set-ups for more injuries.
This is not what a proper fitness program is supposed to do. Our fitness program is supposed to help us, not hurt us.
We must also train the nerves, fascia, connective tissue, ligaments and tendons - and we accomplish this by REMOVING momentum and SLOWING down our movements. We take advantage of the 3 types of contractions as well:
1 - Concentric
2 - Isometric
3 - Eccentric
So I share these mini workouts at home as sample sessions to show our LIIT method of training, allow people to try the mini home workouts and see what it feels like to workout safely, efficiently and effectively.
