Rebuild the Fallen Arches on Your Feet with 3 Simple Tips

Most people think that if their feet are flat, they were just born that way and there is nothing they can do about it. The severity of flat feet can range, but most people can get a better arch by strengthening the muscles in the foot.
Let’s talk about what else could be contributing to flat feet. First, check your hip strength, if your hips are weak they are not able to help pick up your leg and take stress off the foot. Second, you need to work on dorsiflexion in your ankles, if the ankles are not strong enough it puts more pressure on your feet.
Firing up your glutes is so important, so let’s try a carpet ripper exercise to strengthen them, 2 sets of 30 seconds everyday. Next we will focus on the foot by doing arch walks, where you grip down with your toes to pull yourself forward, do this when you walk to the shower! Next throw in a basic calf stretch where you do 30 seconds with the knee bent and 30 seconds with the knee straight.
