If you've ever played Warcraft 3 and now got into the Shadowlands you might have noticed that Kael'Thas is quite different. He went from the noble, self-sacrificing blood elf leader to quite an arrogant character now in Revendreth that is power-hungry and selfish.

Well to get to the answer of this first we analyze Kael'Thas' character progression from his meeting with Illidan to his ultimate corruption and cooperation with Kil'Jaeden and finally with his second progression from the corrupted blood elven leader to a powerful soul in Revendreth, burdened and turned into a weapon by no one other than Sire Denathrius himself.
