Ali Üstündağ 1950 yılında Carmel, California'da doğdu, Paris'te büyüdü. Ekonomi ve politika okumak üzere Londra'ya gitti. Fotoğrafçılık ve filmcilikle ilgilenmeye başladı. İstanbul'a taşındı, Manajans'ta reklam fotoğrafçısı ve film prodüktörü olarak çalıştığı dönemde, "multivizyon" tekniğini ile Türkiye'de ilk sayılan birçok projeye imza attı.
1987'de kendi şirketi İltek Media ve İlkte Show'u kurdu. Özellikle görsel ve işitsel yöntemlerin kullanıldığı kurumsal iletişim projeleri hazırladı.
2007'den beri her yıl Amerika'da düzenlenen TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) konferanslarına katıldı ve 2010 yılında Türkiye'de TEDx konferanslarından ilklerinden olan ve 4 yıldır devam eden TEDxReset'i düzenledi.
Bugün, İltek ve İltek Show bünyesindeki 40 kişilik bir ekibin yöneticisi olarak profesyonel hayatına devam ediyor.

Ali Ustundag was born in 1950 in Carmel, California, grew up in Paris; went to London to study economy and politics. And then started doing photography and film and moved to Istanbul. While he was working in Manajans as a commercial photographer and a film producer, he started using "multivision" technique and did multiple projects that are considered firsts in Turkey. In 1987 he founded his own company Iltek Media and then Iltek Show. He prepared corporate communication projects the especially used audio-visual methods.Since 2007 he has attended the TED Conferences held in USA and in 2010 he put together TEDxReset which is one of the first TEDx Events in Turkey and has been doing it for the last four years. Today he continues his professional life as the general manager of Iltek and Iltek Show's 40 person team.
