For millions, menstruation is a monthly reality yet it remains wrapped in silence, shame, and misinformation. In this deeply personal and eye opening talk, Dr. Suparna Dutta shares her own lived experiences to reveal how stigma around periods is not just uncomfortable but actively harmful.
Through real stories, cultural truths, and medical insight, she uncovers how myths and lack of education impact health, confidence, and access to care. From school classrooms to households and healthcare systems, Dr. Dutta highlights how deeply ingrained taboos continue to shape the way menstruation is understood and misunderstood.
By blending vulnerability with evidence, this talk makes a powerful case for why breaking the silence is essential. Because when we normalize conversations around periods, we do not just change attitudes we change lives.
