Have you ever seen anyone do the Standing Tree meditation, standing perfectly still in meditation with their arms in the air for looooong periods of time? In this video, learn helpful tips for alignment when doing this popular standing meditation. It's a great one to try to build resilience, strength, good posture, and to help us learn to focus and hold our own creative energy. It's an incredibly helpful posture to learn, with many benefits for mind and body.
Try this for a few more minutes each time you practice it, and see how long you can hold it for an extra challenge! As you build your practice, you may feel tension or tingling in some areas of the body increase, and then start to melt away, leading to more calm and ease, less tension in your chest, upper back, neck, head, and shoulder area. This one only gets better over time!
