This is an extensive playthrough of Sonic 2 for the Game Gear. I collect all the emeralds and most of the rings, and I also show many interesting things about this game, such as secret rooms with 1-UP monitors, and the duck easter egg. Obviously, this is not a speedrun, as I rather take my time to explore the levels and showcase them a lot. And the gameplay isn't perfect, either.
Bonus question: can you tell how many lives I have by the end of the video? The counter uses only one digit so it only displays 9, but I have way more than that... Of course I know the answer (I used the emulator to look at the RAM address), but let's see who can be the first one to guess the right answer ;)
