This is a hack of Sonic 3 by BigTaste, which attempts to include all the features of Sonic & Knuckles without the need of the lock-on technology.
You might think that there's not much of it on the outside, indeed, it looks just like good old Sonic 3 & Knuckles (with some different music, including some from the proto), but it's technically interesting because of how this result was achieved, even if it's not perfect.
Besides, I always like to play Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and this hack gave me a nice excuse to put out a new video.

Note that I play alone, but I occasionally take control of Tails when I want to do something cool. Also, I achieve the good ending. But I never enter bonus stages because I didn't want to make an even longer video.
