In Jammulapalem village, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, a unique Shiva temple houses 1,116 Pancha-Mukheswara (five-faced) Shiva Lingas. Inspired by Lord Shiva idols in Nepal, the temple also features 108 Shakti Peetams, installed by Guru Mata Venkataseshamba Garu. Devotees visit the temple daily, performing rituals and offering prayers, drawn by the spiritual significance and community importance of the site. Faith at this temple multiplies as a single chant honors all 1,116 Lingas. With Maha Shivaratri approaching, thousands of worshippers are expected to gather, continuing a timeless tradition of devotion and reverence in the region.
