Eminent Indian-American business leader, philanthropist and Grammy-award-winning artist Chandrika Krishnamurthy Tandon spoke to PTI about artificial intelligence, the upcoming India AI Summit in New Delhi, and her landmark collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA).
Tandon and her husband Ranjan Tandon have endowed ₹100 crore for the establishment of the Krishnamurthy Tandon School of Artificial Intelligence at IIMA. She described the initiative as a milestone for India, emphasising translational research, ethical thinking, and preparing future-ready leaders in an AI-driven world.
Highlighting AI’s transformative impact on business, governance and society, Tandon said India’s scale and talent position it to generate globally relevant solutions.
