Blüemlisalphütte & Wildi Frau 3218m – Sunset Above the Clouds | Oeschinen Lake, Kandersteg

Описание: We are always glad to return to this magical place called Kandersteg, exploring the wild beauty of the region.
Not everything here is found on the tourist map — but the Oeschinen Lake is truly one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in Switzerland.

This time we hiked from Oeschinen Station up to the Blüemlisalp Hut (2840m), reaching it in about 3 hours. After a short glacier walk near the hut, we enjoyed a peaceful afternoon waiting for the breathtaking sunset above the clouds.

The next morning, before sunrise, we continued to Wildi Frau (3218m) — only the hiking summit. The route is partly marked (with cairns), but easy to follow. We hoped for a sunrise view, but the clouds behind Gspaltenhorn had other plans. Still, the experience was incredible — just the two of us, and the silence of the high Alps.

We returned via the Heuberg Panorama Trail, high above Lake Oeschinen, ending the day surrounded by unforgettable views.
