Описание: Ripped from my stereo copy of The Red Krayola with The Familiar Ugly - The Parable Of Arable Land (International Artists IA-LP-2, 1967, US). An Austin, Texas group recorded in Houston, this is one of the most radical releases on the International Artists label - a chaotic blend of avant-garde noise, psychedelic rock, and acid-fueled improvisation.

Led by Mayo Thompson with Frederick Barthelme and Steve Cunningham, The Red Krayola pushed boundaries far beyond their labelmates like the 13th Floor Elevators and The Golden Dawn. The album features wild “Free Form Freak-Out” interludes performed with a collective of friends called The Familiar Ugly. A cornerstone of Texas psychedelia and one of the earliest art rock albums.
